1- Art and Handcraft fair at the edge of the lake
The handcrafting fair of Lagoa Santa takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m until 5 p.m at João Pinheiro street, between João Daher and Acadêmico Nilo Figueiredo avenues, and it gathers around 80 craftsmen and artists of the city. The fair is an initiative of the City Hall of Lagoa Santa, by the Municipal Secretariat of Tourism and Culture, in partnership with Lagoa Santa's Artisans Association that seeks to develop the wealth of the diversity of the artistic and cultural expressions of the city. In it you can find a large variety of products made by the local artists. The fair was created in may of 2010 and became a great option to shop products of the diverse local culture.

2. Sweets and Artesanal Food
In Lagoa Santa, the cultural value of the sweets and food is linked to the fact that most of the receipes are taught for each next generation of the families. Most of the bakers are found at Lapinha's region, where the making of the sweets and food is a centenary tradition. Great part of them learned the craft from their mothers or grandmothers, in an epoch when the production was destined only for the family .

3. Musicians

Santa Cecília Musical Corporation
Founded in 1842 by Peter Lund, Santa Cecília's band is one of the most important heritages of Lagoa Santa. The presentation of the Band is already a tradition in the religious celebrations of the city and in events just like Sete de Setembro and in the anniversary of the death of Peter Lund. Just like this, Santa Cecília's Band was able to keep alive the musical memory of Lagoa Santa.

Lira Nossa Senhora da Saúde Musical Corporation
Lira Nossa Senhora da Saúde Music Association was founded in August 20 of 1959. It's a nonprofit organization, with the purpose of the musical, artistic and cultural development of the city. It also promotes tours of educational and cultural nature with the goal of disseminating order and discipline, as well as developing the interest in art. It's currently chaired by Mr. Dely Machado and its Conductor is Mr. Demétrius Nogueira Lemos.
